Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. Athleon uses the iCloud account already on your iPhone, so there’s nothing to sign up for. Make sure you’re signed in to iCloud in Settings if you want your training to sync and to use Train Together and Social.
Which iPhones does Athleon run on?
Any iPhone with iOS 27. Athleon Coach writes its answers with Apple Intelligence on iPhones that support it.
How do I import my workouts from Hevy, Strong or Fitbod?
In Athleon, open the import screen and pick the app you’re coming from. Athleon shows you how to export your data from that app, then reads the file, matches each exercise to its own library and lets you review and change the matches before anything is imported.
How does Athleon use Apple Health?
During setup, Athleon can read your height, weight, age and sex from Health so you don’t have to type them, and it can save your workouts to Health. Both are optional. You can change what Athleon reads and writes at any time in the Health app, under Sharing › Apps.
Workouts
How do I log a set quickly?
Tap the check mark on a set to log it. Athleon fills in the weight and reps from last time, so most sets need nothing else. Tap the numbers to change them first.
The workout isn’t showing on my Lock Screen.
Check that Live Activities are on for Athleon in Settings › Apps › Athleon. The Live Activity appears once a workout is running, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
Can I log a set without unlocking my iPhone?
Yes. While a workout is running, use Log Set and Skip Rest right on the Lock Screen.
What’s the difference between List and Focus Mode?
List mode shows the whole workout as a list of exercises and sets. Focus Mode shows one exercise at a time with large numbers, which is easier to read and tap mid-set. You can switch between them during a workout.
Train Together and Social
How do I train with a friend?
Start a workout together from the Train tab or from a template, then invite someone from your circle or send them a private link. Each of you logs your own sets, and you see each other’s sets as they’re logged. When you finish, the workout is saved to both your histories.
My friend can’t join my workout or circle.
Both of you need to be signed in to iCloud on your iPhones and connected to the internet. A private one-time link works for one person only, so send a new one if it’s already been used.
Who can see what I share?
Only the people in your circle. Athleon has no public profiles or public feed. Check-ins end on their own, and you can leave a circle or stop sharing at any time.
How do I turn notifications for likes and comments on or off?
In Athleon, go to Settings › Social & Privacy and change Activity Notifications.
Coach and Form Feedback
How does Athleon Coach work?
Coach looks at your own workouts, works out what’s going well and what isn’t, and explains it in plain language using Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. Suggestions are only applied when you tap to apply them. You can delete all your conversations in Settings › Coach.
How do I get the best results from Form Feedback?
Stand your iPhone up side-on to you, a few metres away, with your whole body and the weight in the frame and good light on you. Form Feedback works best for the exercises it lists.
Is Coach a replacement for a doctor or physiotherapist?
No. Coach and Form Feedback give general training guidance. If you have pain, an injury or a medical condition, talk to a doctor or physiotherapist before training.
Your data
How do I move my training to a new iPhone?
Sign in to the same iCloud account on the new iPhone and install Athleon. Your workouts, templates and settings sync through iCloud.
How do I delete my data?
Delete Athleon from your iPhone, then remove its iCloud data in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Athleon. Leave any circles first if you want your shared posts gone from your friends’ feeds too.
